Hello,
Very nice forum you have here, I hope I can get some advice, not sure what I can offer as I am completely new to Flash and looking to learn :)
I am looking for a tutorial and template or some guidance on how to make a simple horizontal thumbnail picture preview with the option to scroll left and right.
Basically, I have about 40 photos which I would like to have within a scroll bar that is 600x100 pixels - each photo thumbnail is 100x100 pixels - so a user can see about 5 photos at a time (with a few pixels between each - and left and right buttons at either end.
When a user clicks on one of the thumbnails I would like it to open to full size within the web page with a "close" button at the top.
Can anyone advise on how I can achieve this?
I was directed to this: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/../developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm)
But it would not be ideal - but the idea of changing an xml file to add/remove photos is nice though :)
Thanks
Jack
