Sony GRZ-610

I have a Sony GRZ-610 and it constantly shuts it self down and crashes, I've reinstalled windows 5 times and it keeps happening, please tell what could be wrong so I can report this problem and hopefully replace my computer and get help.

I was thinking power, but possibly a defect in the mother board or over heating?

restarts are generally a sign of power supply or overheating.
try leaving it for a bit, take the case off and then turn it back on again

my computer does seem to run very hot. How could I measure the temp?

if it's new(ish) it might have a thermometer.. not sure where you'd find it though... BIOS.. maybe Windows... in the Control Panel somewhere...
