What: Absolut Battle

Subject: Recreate an Absolut Vodka advertisement. The entry must follow the general idea and format of previous Absolut adverts, but your entry should be based around these very forums. So you can pick a topic, a common theme or a member, and design the advert for that / them.

Software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash - any art package.

Who: mlkdesign, Replode, Ilyas, Ralle, asphaltcowboy. Plus anyone else who submits an entry before teh closing date. You're all welcome to join in.

When: Two weeks from now, Thursday 10th July. EXTENDED to 17th July.

Extra Rules: Don't say who / what you're designing your advert for. It doesn't matter if there are two (or more) people doing the same subject / forum member, as it'll all be down to your interpretation of the subject.

With regards to a size limit... fairly large. Use the posters in the initial thread as a guide. :)

D*mn, I had that idea.. was gonna call it 'Absolut Neo' or 'Absolut Keanu' - which kinda has some relevance.. kinda ;) (leaveit kit! :P)

anyway, great work Ilyas - maybe provide a still as well, since this was for a poster or magazine? :thumb:

Ilyas - That's great. :) The animated version is fantastic, though the still is still excellent. I say it goes in the competition regardless. :) It works for me. :)

Now there's an idea... but if you look, the eyebrows are barely visible anyway and if you added one it would look unnatural. Besides, I don't think Kirupa would exactly appreciate that. :P

Well, the rules do state that it has to be related to the forums, so if I'm being strict then it won't count...

I'll add a few more days onto the deadline, give you (and everyone else) time to do their entries. :)

Not meaning to be picky or anything but keeping to a deadline is as much of a rule as is keeping to the subject, you can't be leaniant (sp?) with one and not with the other...

but thats just my thoughts on the matter :)
