One of the things i have done is this logo.

as for the logo it's ok, bit blurry but fine, what you gonna use it for?

Please, refrain from using more iTrash.

As far as the logo itself—it doesn't work. It looks like three separate pieces were stuck together, and forced to work as one.

Composition wise—the 'i' looks way to large in compared to the 'geek'—with the 'apple' leaf (/rollseyes) just looks plain silly.

Again, I would sit your friend down and work out a different direction and completely different plan.

way blurry, and slapping an apple leaf on some text doesn't make a whole lotta sense.

Aim for something more symbolic.

^ Agreed. And since it's not even vector I'm really curious if it would ever be any good for a logo. Needs work and try being more creative. ;)
