hi everyone!

yeah... sadly, i have a preloader in my flash website, that actually doesn't work after your refresh the browser in explorer, so basically you can't see the website any more at all after refreshing.

i don't know any javascript at all... but i do know actionscript three, so i kinda have a good sense of htings in a way.

but i was wondering... is there anyone out there who might be able to help me find a code, or show me one, that basically embeds a different flash movie if the browser is explorer? i was thinking that would probably be javascript.

i would really appreciate that!

thank you

ah yes!

seems this detects the version of flash player that you have : very useful indeed, since you can't see my website without flash player 9, and i have been wanting to sort that out (don't like the script that flash automatically builds, nor do i understand if it would work properly).

only thing is that this doens't detect what browser the person is using... or does it? hm. it's a little confusing since i don't know this language : if anyone knows what's up with this i'd be appreciative for a little more advice!

thanks!

oh never mind, i see now. yes it does pick up what browswer you're using...

i guess all i need now is a code to actually make it show a different flash movie depending on what browser you have! maybe it's in here somewhere!

thank you :)
