It's alright, it's a big laggy some times, not too keen on the gradients on the buttons/navigation. Perhaps make them a solid colour or glossy. I love it when you move the background though! it's good that you have an option to turn it on or off otherwise it's a little uneasy when viewing the content.

Not too sure about the colour scheme, the navigation has different colours, how about changing the background colour to the same as the nav section bits? Not sure how difficult it is, but its an idea you could play around with.

Overall though it's quite good :)

It's pretty good, but holy performance issues, batman! :stare: Also, you should make a detail page for each portfolio item, instead of a popup.

The thing with the sky is it changes depending on your time, so if its morning itll look like morning, if its noon itll look like noon ....etc... The gradients for the nav do look like garbage, so ill try some other stuff, and again the performance issue is alot better than it was before, the thing it accommodates every screen resoultion, and i dont know what the max size should be (right now alot of the images are about 2000pixels wide, or 1600 pixels high) just so it doesnt look crappy in the largers screens can you suggest a smaller resolution? If you shrink the window a bit it works alot more smoother

woah on the 1600x1200 resolution I am using the lag is noticeable. I had to shrink my screen to look at properly. Nice site. You might want to work on the performance issue. Are you rendering the world object or is split up into a grid? It would seem your rendering things not in view. Could just be my resolution though.

This has the potential to be a great site but as Anogar said

but holy performance issues, batman!

won't comment on the performance issues.. but I like the overall design
hate the high x-height serif heading condensed fonts..unless you used them because you want the movie poster look..you know the text at the bottom of the movie posters...hmm I really hate those fonts...arrghhh sorry personal thing nice gradient

also whats with move the world(its in serif????)<---not cool
I really love the bg; I love it, don't change

however I couldn't move the particles =( made me sad and as as user I didn't feel rewarded.... and also the scroll in news gets me dizzy change your scroll numbers in the code to make it react slower ie.( from 20 --> 5 or even 1 and a button to allow for quick adjustment( a small square or particle could work) also I love it overall

Remove the particles and it runs perfectly fine (although there are probably ways you could increase performance.

Nice over all.

I got rid of the crappy sans serif font, I forgot to embed it, and I also changed the navigation font, it looks better now.

I got rid of the crappy sans serif font, I forgot to embed it, and I also changed the navigation font, it looks better now. The gradient I decreased its intensity and made it a bit darker, and as for the particles and stuff I dont have that file with me but when i do get them ill make some changes!

Mr Scribbs, what folks are failing to tell you is that you site has a high amount of innovation. (By the way I would love to know how you did the three level, height adjusment scrolling). It is a beautiful site with well chosen music. You should do well with it. Nice work:tie:

I just noticed God's bathroom floor was the third track in your playlist - nice choice.

wow....amazing site. Colours, fonts, innovation, one of the few sites I've came across where the music was perfectly choosen and helped promote the site. Very good.

Couple of things though

1. In your portfolio page I have to click the "move me" before I can move it. Why? I'm dragging it from right to left and vice versa to move your portfolio but clicking on it first seems unneccessary.

2. The performance issues. As everyone above said this is an amazing site but the performance issues really hurt it which is a shame.

3. I don't really agree that your portfolio sites need to open in a box as opposed to a new window but if you're going to stick with the new window opening then I would at the least style the page showing it. Change the background from white to something a bit more suitable. It's just that in your site you have no big areas of white and it stuck out like a sore thumb when I clicked on something in your gallery.

But this site is on course to be a truly amazing site. Well done

Performance issues of course. Also the news section is ugly. Nice music though. The rest of the site is pretty good, my main gripe is that it opens a new window for a portfolio item. Nice job overall. :thumb:

I'm lovin' it so far! The way the BG changes per time of day sounds awesome. (I bookmarked it and I'm going to look at it later today :thumb: ) Here are a few little things I noticed that need some attention...

The "move me" scroller on Portfolio sits at one Y position, but when you click to scroll it jumps down a few pixels. Once it has done this, you have to hit refresh on the browser for it to happen again.

Under the Affiliates section...the "Skribbs Hookups" title is blurred. Round those x and y values off.

Other than that and the comments the others have made, you've got a pretty sweeeeeet site here! Nice work.

Aboout the Portfolio, This is the first time I am using xml and flash, so even though this looks like crap, Its cause I've only just begun playing aroudn, I will make the portfolio look/work better but i think that after I can fix this performance issue i can start fixing the portfolio

It's gotta be the filters you're using. If you can just blur it in Photoshop and use that for anything - do it. Same with drop shadows, get creative when you have to - those things are horrid performance hogs.
