Audio Editor

Ok, I need a program that just mixes 2 audio files together, and preferably save as mp3. Anyone know of any? I know of Cool Edit, but it's too big, and I dont understand it.. and has more then I need.

Any suggestions?

You can mix two audio filesusing Windows (98) Soundrecorder, but I'm not sure about the quality.

yeah, goldwave is a good editor. plain and simple, yet complex at the same time. it has everything you'd possibly need.

Anybody know of any FREE (cheapskate!) or demo versions of an MP3 editor? I want to be able to fade out MP3s after about a minute or so, in order to put 'tasters' of my band's songs on our website ...Thanks,
