How to optimize preloader ???

hi again,
i started my site and i made some pages but as far as i got to the page my preloader has its size extending too.....not very much but it does...is there any way to ptimize the size of the preloading scene so as to be vidible as soon possible on screen?

Have Flash export a file size report - it's in the Publish Settings area under the File menu.

That'll show you where your file size is going.

Also note that if you put your preloader in a movie with lots of exported data (Library Linkage for AS1.0 / 2.0 or class export for AS3.0), that data generally has to be loaded before anything on frame 1 ever shows, such as a preloader.
