I just got a Nokia 6085 and it appears to run .swf files (it has some on it already, for screensavers).
What tools would I need to make something for it? and what would be the realistic capabilities (I doubt you could run flash games on it....... lol).
P.S. Technical specs seem to indicate that it supports Macromedia Flash 2, hmm?

What tools would I need to make something for it?Flash. Open Flash CS3, and select Create New -> Flash File (Mobile)
It even has a template specifically for the Nokia 6085. Convenient eh?

Aside from the fact that it's way too large for my screen and I can't move it around or resize it LOL (had to Alt+Tab).

You can use Flash CS3 to make content for mobile phones, but you won't be able to use AS3 when coding for them. You can either use Flash Lite 2 ActionScript (which is very similar to Flash Player 7 AS) or Flash Lite 1 ActionScript. Flash has a reference section for both of those language subsets, so you can see exactly what capabilities you have.

Ahhh so the help file or online help should have a reference to the capabilities available for it? that'll be useful (once I find a usb data cable for it lol).
It says it supports Macromedia flash 2 so I'm assuming that would be Flash Lite 2?

Yes, it is correctly listed as Flash Lite 2 here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/devices/nokia_s40.html
