Keep the link styles the same for the nav.

Keep each page the same type of layout (the left text disappears and the top left blue bar changes).

It's also kinda bland.

Well, it works, but it's definitely not appealing... The color scheme, the links, the animations, even the header... They all look weak and amateurish... You really need to read up on design theory and design basics if you are planing on any improvements...

Horrible page transitions, bland design with no thought for colours etc. Images are randomly placed. Animate gifs? Nooooooooooooo.

At least you used CSS.

This kind of thing really bothers me. I despise the whole i know how to chuck any page onto the web so i must be a web designer and start charging for my work. It just makes the internet an ugly place.

Sorry for the rant but it does really get on my nerves. The internet is supposed to be beautiful.

OK i hate to say it, but this is a "start again" job.

Look around the web for inspiration. @ css galleries and see what tickles you.

Right, have a look at cssmania.com or csszengarden.com and get inspired. CSS exists to allow designers the freedom to rise above the "L-bar" design and break boundaries previously unbreakable. You've done a great thing by using CSS to start. Now that you've got a grasp on it, utilize it to it's full potential, push that website design and help that company push sales. Make Cherokee Furniture Outlet THE furniture outlet that eats other outlets for breakfast.
