It looks damn purty on OS X with Garamond. :drool:

The idea is that I will be able to update the code more, without so much legacy crap like in the last version. I’ll probably scrape the design, but I like the codebase. It’s rather extensible. :)

The header is fully unacceptable. Actually most of it is pretty unacceptable. The type is hot though, so keep that!

I feel like you're kind of going for an A List Apart thing, but it's kinda not working.

I think you just need to work on your use of negative and positive space, right now it's just kinda all thrown on.

Yeah, I agree that it’s pretty ugly. :P

What do you mean by the A List Apart style? Just focusing on exclusively typography?

One thing I did take out was the grid; in Safari, everything fits the grid layout exactly to the pixel, which again, was mostly just typography work (and doing it with the form sucked).

I definitely think I’ll scrape it; I sorta felt it was crappy, and just decided to post because I had gone so far with it. I will try and keep the nice typography in a new version, though. :)

Maybe its an OS thing, but on my standard Windows XP setup running firefox, the font is difficult and annoying to read.

Mostly the typo, yeah. Just the focus on typo and the way some of your links work. Not a rip by any means, just that style of design. Which is cool because that's a pretty dang sexy site.
