Not bad, the highlights on the hair seems a bit off, but the overall proportions look good. Nice work. =)

Yeah I agree about the highlights. I seem to be having the most problems with shadows and highlights.

I'd say that highlighting and shadows aren't essential if that's the style you're after. If you wanted to make it more realistic, then yeah, add all the highlights and that. :) But I rather like it like this. :)

If there's one thing I'd change, it would be the definition on the nose. But then, I know from experience that this is one of the most awkward things to do. :)

What I did with the one of Tifa was to put a patch of shadow behind where the nose would be, so the lighter bit stood out more. It's tricky. Since you're not really using the lines to define, you have to rely on the coloring. :)

I still really like the pic though, it's good. :)

I live in Kent (south of South Ken), about an hour out of London. Asphalt lives in North London and Soul lives oop North. :)
