...for an architects practice in london. Was a pretty quick turn around and am fairly pleased with the results. Not many thrills but a vast improvement on what they used to have. I probably wont be making any changes to it as the client is happy and have paid me....so thats what is important right??! But i would be interested in a critique from you guys...so i can take the criticism on to my next project and do better.:thumb2:
or if you like it..that works for me too.

it's not that bad but the top nav/header could need some designing. it looks weird just sitting on a plain white bg;)

Generally, it's too slow. And on the projects pages, you could have included some example images instead of just the white page. Or at least some text. I'm not too wild about the color combination, the regular blue messes things up. And the grey borders also adds to the chaos.
Other than that it's a good page with easy navigation. But your own page is better ;)

I'm sorry it's just not working for me at all.
- The design is too bland, the idea with the different colors is cool but it doesn't fit in well enough
- The animation is amatuerish (sp) and way too slow
- Your menu doesn't stand out enough
- The bottom boxes look like buttons but do nothing - why are they there?
Needs a lot of work but I always will acknowledge effort so nice job.

The white background really gives a weird sensation, maybe you could try some bg image, or gray or blue.... the rest is fine :-)

The font that says "Barr Gazetas" needs to be sharper, it looks like you just used the wrong type of AA or something. The navigation (the one with projects and stuff) needs to roll up faster than it does now, and the whole good words cycling thing needs to be smoother, it looks too blocky as it is now. For the top, I would look into using a pixel font for most of the text here. You need some sort of backdrop if your site is going to be so plain. The colored rectangles need to more faster and more smoothly (higher framerate?) You also need a preloader for each individual project. (i.e. I clicked on Urban Design and then one of those hard-to-see textfields and nothing happened. I had to wait 5 seconds before something happened and I wasn't told that it was loading. If someone was on dialup they would think something is wrong with the page)

Photo first, then text. Clicking on each section makes the text appear first, then the photo appears very slowly later. It makes each section initially look boring until the photo appears. Speeding it up will help.
