I can't see a reason for the flash header. Other than having little animated leaves float across and the menu (which coulda been done with XHTML and CSS) I don't think you needed to use flash here.
The menu down the site is a little ugly. Cardinal rule of menus, if you're going to have text links in your menu you have to set text-decoration to none.
Colours kinda clash and you have a lot going on on the front page, why the calendar.

the bg looks really awkward and the side menu looks...uggh:(
lose the gradients, and red+green don't really complement each other, with christmas as the only exception:(

Use complimentary colours, not colours opposite each other on the wheel - yick!

Thank you very much. This is one of the most useful CSS site's I've seen. Not all of the pages had tutors, but what I did was open the pages up in Nvu (open source similar to Dreamweaver) and studied code!!!
