Star Wars : Galaxies - June 26

Can anyone not wait for this game as much as me? Oh boy, this looks great!

For those of you who don't know what SWG is, its a starwars MMORPG, an online role-playing game set in the Star Wars theme (Empire vs Rebels). I'm a big fan of SW and I cant wait for this game to come out. Sure theres a monthly fee and all, but it'll be worth it.

yeah, what a great game! luckily i was chosen to be a beta tester for it so i got a taste of it before anyone else :P

the only problem is having to download the massive updates everytime i run the game. each update is a good 300-some megs a pop.

i also can't wait for FFXI.

yeah, sounds really good. i just don't feel like paying fees when i dish out money for an internet connection.:mad:

oh yeah, no doubt. since this is after all a beta, you shouldn't expect it to work 100%

I think this game looks awesome. But I'm split on whether to get it or World of Warcraft (due out in like 2004, so actually out in 2099).

Blizzard games are the best (IMO). And I think an MMORPG set in the Warcraft world would be awesome. But being able to own x-box people at the star wars game while on my PC would be awesome. How do you play a game without a mouse? I'll never understand it.

Yeah, i like to use a mouse on evey game i play, its just better that way, but i like to use console controllers too.

Ive really really wanted this game, but you have to pay a monthly fee of about $15, and i can't afford that :( oh well....

But i toop have been extremly excited about WoW and i can't wait till that or Starcraft: Ghost comes out... but if WoW has a monthly fe im not getting it :(:(

All MMORPG's have a monthly fee. So WoW will, but I think theirs is only gonna be $10. So it won't be as bad. You've just gotta work 2 more hours a month at minimum wage to be able to afford that.

I am in the Beta as well. =0) I like the graphics on it quite a bit. Although I wish I had more to time to play. :(

I got $400 just lying around, waiting to be spent, so SWG here I come, biotch
