There are some odd rollovers happening on those photos. Some turn a shade of green while others just get a little darker. Nothing personal, I'm just not a fan of the "lets jump on the social network bandwagon" thing happening now. I would be more excited to see a website which did something unique and simple like utilize the users webcams to take their mugshots, then display them on a really neat interactive visual bulletin board.

those fonts look crisp to me. what am i missing?
interesting... but seems like it's pretty damn hard to compete with the major players in the community site game. godspeed sir.
*disregard that last comment, i was under the impression that this was your idea

I think you should integrate the 'upload your mugshot page' into the main flash page as it looks disjointed without a common design or theme. Same with the other pages.
Also you should really use GD (if available on server) to not only resize the images but also reduce the image quality, especially as the displayed images are so small.
+ I'll crit more later, and is this an assignment?

Just read you had a brief, it would help if you posted the brief so we could tell you how close you are and what we would change,

As you might figure, pixel fonts a lot of the time don't work out. The only time I use them is in small apps, or in personal apps, or in textFields that don't really matter (like page numbers and etc).

I second the comment about the pixel fonts not working to well it is too disorienting. I was about to say it and saw hybrid beat me too it.
My biggest complaint is the site doesn't look welcoming enough, it doesn't grab my attention to stay there and perhaps I am slow but it lacks in user friendliness. I would not say these "harsh" words if it was a different kind of site but these ones need to be straight forward, user friendly, too the point and sticky. Sorry but I am just not feeling it.
