Hey guys,

I have made this quick logo from scratch and wants to know what you guys think about it.

Robinson Ravani is one of the most busy immigration laywer firm in london. This is for them.

Any commments are welcome and please be bit more detailed ;)

Holy small text, Batman!

First off, it doesn't hold up at a small size, which is essential for a law firm. It has to look great on envelopes, business cards, letter head, etc.

[if you're not the sort of person who likes honesty, stop reading now]

When it comes to the logo itself, I personally think that it's nothing short of terrible. The lines look cartoony and raw. Unfinished. It does not personify reliability and strength and class, which I imagine is more what a law firm is looking for. It just doesn't saw "law", it's more like "bad design studio" or something. Anyhow. Just my :2c:. I think the concept and the execution are bad, and you should probably start over.

:s erm....Its just so cliche that you have done this. no real thought AT ALL.

Robinson Ravani: ok the name begins with R so the logo should be an R yes thats it EUREKA, ITS ALIIIIIVE

Nope, it doesnt work. Sure for Calvin Klein the old CK is great but that is done with style. For a top lawyer he should expect something much better for his money. draft up a few logos on paper beforehand and take it from there

Sorry kmria - hate to kick a guy when he's down, but the others are right. Perhaps google a lot of other law firms and look at the sort of thing that they are using. As the others have said, the logo needs to work well when small on business cards, letterheads etc so the small text is a complete no-no. Moreover, like a law firm - it's logo needs to appear strong, reliable and imbibe confidence.

lol... ok so this is disaster. As for the small text this was suppose to be for big logo for small logo I was thinking of putting text at the bottom of the box.

I drew this on paper while watching tele and just traced it using AI. When I posted this here I should have made this bit clear instade of just using word quick.

This is exactly why I am loyal I like here at kirupa, coz u guys are honest ;)

I guess I will have to start all over again. BTW, I can't say how much they are paying for this but it's lots more than just cartoony logo. And as for 'R' for logo, it is what they want. To replace there simple R logo.

Thanks guys, i am gonna make u same people say "nice work" just give me year or two!!! lol..

Here are some more ideas... but i think i have given up atleast for the moment. I am going round and round in circle. I know what you guys mean when you said it have to be some thing strong and solid. but this is the best i can come up with at this moment.

Don't worrie about following point
- Text too small or big.
- Squre or circle
- Colors.

I am mainly looking for idea. What I think looked fine was huge disaster and so now I got no trust on my ideas. :( :crying:

instead of making it random geometrical relationships, try something symbolic to what the company does.

^^^ What DM said. I'm really not feeling any of your logos ( don't know why, but I'm not feeling them at all... ).
