Been working on the design for a client recently that is for a Social Network aimed at Artists.

Its my first time skinning anything and was wondering what peoples opinions were. If you like it then join. Its still being tested so if you find any bugs let me know.

It's funny how MySpace is so hot, and now everyone and their dog is going to try to make a social network. Even Coke is making one I think. Once everyone is connected to 5 million different social networks, then what? Everyone becomes rich off text link ads? The whole thing confuses me.

Anyway, your CSS is very good and the site holds up well in verious browsers. Looks clean enough, nice job.

Good idea as these sites are very popular at the moment.

Tables shouldnt really be used in that layout as all of that could be done with CSS, More work i know but would be better.

The logo makes me wanna cry lol not because its bad cos it looks quite good but because you are mimicking flicker with the typical last letter.

I think it does require more work on the typography of the site as the content just doesnt quite sit right at the moment and maybe the right column could be a shade or 2 darker to better define it?

Great script though well done

Good stuff ... not sure about the tiled background either though. Maybe it would work slightly better if you main centred content had a drop shadow along left and right hand side to lift away from the background?

looks like a web two point oh clone of every bad thing that has come out of the era :(

Web two point oh clones pay the bills my friend. Clients want that stuff sadly.

Just one comment ( although I'm not a fan of the blog style, it's quite ok ): you are using way too much blue ! I can hardly read the text or concentrate on something, that blue is killing me ( especially the background pattern, the contrast is way too big )...

I can't even begin to tell you how hard I laughed when you guys wrote, "Web two point oh". Someone has to put that on a tshirt with something obscure like a donkey or a dingo or something. Brilliant.

Oh, and final comment. Everything looks fine until you go to the Search area. Then there's this big odd icon that seems out of place. Maybe try something a little more in line with isotope characters with their "flat" and simple style. It just seems a little out of place and a bit too descriptive now.
