www.imanmodel.com (http://www.imanmodel.com) I was able to use lot of information from this site to complete the flash gallery. The site is not quite done as I'd like to be able to have the gallery be a php gallery with the pictures linking to the flash files. Currently I have to creat an html page for each individual, but I know there's a better way to do it. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks :ko:

ok. I think the intro is a bit weak, maybe take away the white background on the logo that flies in. either that or dont have it fly in and have the logo centered on a white centered banner that fades in. Just my opinion:) Hope it is helpful. by the way, nice coding.
Also, I just noticed that the footer seems a bit, high. maybe join it to the bottom of the page, and work on the gradient.

Kinda, ugly design wise. The buttons look way to generic. The intro doesn't help. Could of done it with no flash just as easily.
It does function decently. Theres a header is just an image of their logo. Functionality wise its okay, but you really need work on the design, give it colour, or try and make your gradients not so sudden.

Are you shooting all of your photos with a Sony digicam on "nightshot"? The design is boring and nothing special or new. It functions if you only concerned about that.

Ok, so the design is quite bland in terms of colour use so i would certainly try to introduce a nice colour maybe blue?
if you are going to use flash then please use the fix for IE too so users do not need to "click to activate" also what is the point of having the gallery movable?
When designing a site you should ALWAYS utilise the tools at hand, in your case you are designing for a model agency therefore must have access to some great photographs of the models. Use them on various pages to add colour and depth to the site.
Have an image on the left with the text on the right on a few pages and that will liven it up a bit.
Also, try not to use tables so much, you can use CSS for everything on your site so you should use it. All in all, good work and keep at it :)

go over to
http://www.thefwa.com/
and look at photography sites. Hit google and look at photographers sites because being a model agency they will be your biggest clients. This site will not attract them.
I think the design is very bland. Boring colours. Weak intro ( as mentioned above ). The menu is very plain as well.
I think if you look at the photographers sites you'll notice that the main thing is the photos. The site is just there to promote the pictures. So should your site. Obviously though make the nav easy to use and spot.
One of the things I notice about your site is the word count. I'd seriously rethink your text. Seems to be a lot of content for a modelling agency. I didn't even read any of it, just BANG lots of content and my eye skimmed over it. Chances are prospective clients will do this as well.
This should have been distinctive colours, nice elegant nav and pictures of the models and (so it sticks out) the logo, nice and big...unfortunately you have small font, too much content, weak intro and black and red everywhere.
Back to the drawing board I think

too much beveling and ineffective shadowing. Needs tone

The site is not my own. I just put it together for the owner. IMan stands for Intelligen Man. He picked the domain, registered it and made the logo.

Thanks for the points you made. I'll get back with the site owner and let him know. See if we can make the site stand out more as a modeling management site.

Thank you very much for your review. I tried to design around the site logo I was given and there weren't too much color, but I'll look into introduciing other colors and really appreciate your point of adding pictures to the front page.

I'll definitely post updates. This is my first site that I've done for someone other than myself. It's hard working for someone with their ideas of what they want.

it's always difficult taking what a client would call input and I guess sometimes what you would call interference. I think the hardest part is telling a client 'No, thats not a good idea' as long as you always always follow it up with either 'and heres why' or 'I've had a better one'. It's a juggling act between giving the client what they want and doing something you can be proud of.
For instance : http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=263652
but yeah like Will says I'm curious to see how you attack this site again so please, keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks again for you time and critiques. I've since done some redesign to the site. Got rid of the embossing and added some color. I do have some minor issues to fix, but otherwise, please let me know what you think.
Thanks again
