when you click on one of the navigation options for otra design (link provided below), how does the designer create the elastic effect when the square changes sizes. any scripting advice would be greatly appreciated.

i have made a elastic effect once.. it is not exactly what you need, but might help.

I doubt it's tweened. Most likely actionscripted. Run a search at google, there are a lot of effects like this out there.

hmm well the effect is defintaly done via AS. it's really just a simpel easing effect that changes sizes. the hard part is getting it to bounce like that, like it changes sizes and then once again changes sizes before it stops.
