depens on what you're using it for.. it's good to manage simple databases and make db applications with visual basic, ... but for the web, it's too slow, and for HUGE databases, an sql server definitely should be used :)

i need it to make databases with ASP.NET
so it is good but a bit slow... that will do

I've used Access databases for many online projects. It works very well for web based applications where the number of entries count in the hundreds and not thousands. I've not found any problems at all with speed.
For larger applications SQL Server or MySQL is definitely the way to go

Access works fine unless your database is large in content. but php and mySQL is much better

i've been told that access doesnt allow multiuser access, that is, you can't have more than a single user accessing the database at the same time.. im not sure how true that is though, so don't take my word for it :)

ahmed, not sure if that is true. if it is than that is absolutly rediculous. what if 2 users are trying to loggin at once? boy that would be crazy if true
