i must say if you download the source you need to drag the scroll bar onto the text feild... i forgot that:sure:

A few things...

1) You don't need to decalre the new LoadVars() on every on(press), you can do declare that on the the timeline. (same goes with the .html property)

2) If you ever have to scroll and click on another section that has to scroll, the scrollbar will stay the in the same space, so in the on(press) you should empty the textbox before you load the file so it gets cleared, loads, and shows new text. This way the scrollbar will always start from the top.

3) Don't forget about dynamic event handlers ;)




Good tutorial though, nice step by step explanation and it's easy to follow.

In my case that is true, I learned a lot of Flash by helping people around the forum.

I never ripped apart your tutorials Dan. Actually I don't think i've seen a tutorial from you since the alpha fade with inertia tutorial, and I loved that :)

Well... except I was one of the test drivers of that tutorial and I DID make a few suggestions....lol.
