Hey everyone...I was just wondering if anyone had any idea on what a resonable price would be to charge someone for putting a banner on a site to promote their web site?

Any idea's?

Thanks

it depends on the size and on how many hits you get a day, i guess.

on yahoo it would cost a 6 diggit sum but on small site maybe $50, but like alex said, depends on the hits and size

well the size would probably be about 468x60. As for hits a day, I'm not really sure...probably not a huge traffic volume really.

chris9902 when you say $50, do you mean $50 a week, month or year?

Sorry for the questions guys, I just really don't have a clue.

Thanks for the help.

yup - and it all depends if you count the number of times the banner is clicked or the number of visitor you actually have on your page - all about targeting the users....
