Can't figure out how to do a full screen overlay

I can't figure out how to do a full screen overlay like on this page: (click the movie)

I've been searching half the web and couldn't find any satisfying results.
I really need it for my video portfolio.

that's not an overlay, they actually just linked to the swf playing the flv in a new page. you will see that if you resize the window.

or if you want, you could aways use fullscreen popups(which are very bad)
