Starbucks parody logo

Im pretty sure this isnt a breach of their copyright as its only using their basic shape, but I require editing of the Starbucks logo to say Bantermarket across it ;)

To elaborate, the text across the logo ("Starbucks" at top,"Coffee" at bottom) should be replaced and "Banter" (at top) and "Market" (At bottom) at bottom added.

I'm no good with Photoshop so I have no idea how, also the inside of the circle where the image of the woman is in the original logo should be replaced with just a complete black fill so that I can decide what to add there later (using flash to give it an image fill).

Here is a (albeit bad) example i tried in flash, the concept is the same except the centre which should be black :puzzle:

Thats actually more or less perfect, the only change i would ask if you could is to try make the font a little more like the "Starbucks" font, if you cant do that its cool with me.

^ well, it's not about not being able to do it... it's just that i have no idea what font they used for it... anyways, i'll do some searching... hopefully i'll find something useful...

Ok, well i did some search but couldn't find the name of the font used by starbucks ( maybe they made a custom font for personal use ). I did find something quite similar to it, but it costs like 240 $... http://www.fontshop.com/fonts/downloads/garagefonts/freight_sans/

Yeah, I saw that...how can they justify selling a font for that much :o

Anyway, could you use a font that you have which just resembles it closer?

Just any font that in your opinion, would look a little better because thats really my only concern.

haha, lol, i didn't bather with the text on mine... too lazy to look for a font that screws the way it should... bleh, anyways, the dude already got my PSD and he made the necessary changes ( the font i mean ).

Hey Geniuses,

Take a look at the actual Starbucks logo and you'll see the stars are not centered, they are lowered like in mine.

I do agree that I could have done better with the bottom text.

I did not copy from that other guy, I have the original Starbucks logo as an Illustrator file.

^ hahahah, hey "genius" in the original starbucks logo the stars are a bit lowered just because the uppers text is wider then the bottom...

BANTER MARKET = 6 x 6 char
STARBUCKS COFFEE = 9 x 6 char

Got the idea ( the stars on the original logo can't be centered just because there is not enough space... ) ??? And do please lose that annoying arrogant "geniuses" thingie.
