Yup, there was a local ska/latin alternative band as well.

It is a festival that lasts all summer long, on Sunday afternoons. The shows are all outdoors, in a meadow, surrounded by a grove of Eucalyptus trees...

But they are real short shows. Daniela only played for around an hour and a half or so... The first band is on at 2:00, they shut off the power for the stage at 5:00...

Yes, she put on a good show. I didn't understand about 90% of what she was saying, but that didn't matter.

I've heard she is kinda like the Brittney Spears from Bahia...

Not really my style of music, but it was extremely fun watching all of the young talent dancing to her music in a very warm sunny meadow.

A very nice day with friends indeed...

I don't think I will be buying her CD anytime soon, but it was an unexpected pleasure (I was told to expect Brazillian Carnival music).

I've heard she is not very respected in Brazil tho...

Well, she was more popular a few years ago... but she is respected.

And her music is very close to the the music of Bahia´s Carnival, but not so close to Rio´s.

I think, judging by all of the shots I've seen on the web, that she is fairly natural... Brazillian women have fuller lips in general to begin with...

did not know that about the music... very interesting... I knew this wasn't samba, but didn't know what to call it...

It was actually kinda funny at the show, one of my friends speaks fluent Spanish, and could differentiate words (I had to concentrate real hard just to pick out a word), but didn't know what they meant, so we were constantly talking back and forth about what she was talking about...

my mom does all that plastic surgery bull****. within the past 5 years she has gotten a boob job, chin job, nose job, and i dunno maybe a facelift. i dont see the point in it, she is only 37 (had me when she was 19) and she really didn't need any of them done. just wasting all of my dads money lol :P
