[Mr. Kite]

Hey I made this logo for an online music magazine I'd like to start. Just wondering what anyone thought of it.

It's not really a logo. The text by itself could be and the headphones could be, but together they're more of a banner. Personally I think the text could use a ton of work. The font is played out, the kerning is pretty awful, the spacing in general kills any potential it had. As far as the headphones are concerned they're also pretty played out. You didn't do a particularly great job of tracing them out and the cord isn't even a consistent thickness.

Not trying to come down on your hard, just think you're defaulting to generally accepted imagery, when there's so much out there to tap.

Ask your brother for some ideas!

Thanks for the critique. Yeah, I thought about whether or not to call it a logo to but I didn't know what else to call it. I don't mind the harshness. It's all constructive so it's all good.
