well, i've been so busy with class and really tired lately that i didn't really go out for a couple months. well tonight, i went out with my homegirlz to a cute little argentinian bar (Sur Tango) and danced my arse off (with the help of a few drinks of course). then we went to an afterparty with all these arabic guys, who of course set up a hookah and played some cool arabic music. it's 4 am right now, i'm really tired and going to bed. i love when nights turn out like this and everybody just has fun!
:P :P :P

*dan wishes he was 21 so he could drink legally and get into bars without a fake ID that rarely works*

I had a fake ID...
I never got refused, until the day before my 21st bday. I was tossed from a bar that I went to quite often, with my mother as a matter of fact...
I came back to the bar the next day, the bartender jumped over the bar to toss me out, when I showed her my real ID...
She was soooooo pissed... Needless to say, I stopped going to that bar...
;)
Moral: don't use fake ID in bars you will be wanting to go to after you turn 21. You will never know what is in your drink...

You'll need one from the state you plan on going to bars...
otherwise, they will not allow it, unless you have other ID to confirm... which kinda defeats the purpose...

whoa whoa, who said i was 21. i turn 21 in august. this bar is 18 and over, but i have friends in there who get me drinks. it's kinda nice. and since i only have less than 3 months to go, I don't want to bother getting a fake. plus i'm going to croatia for a month out of those three and there is no age limit there.

You guys have to be 21 to drink in America? Wow, that's weird... It's 18 over here. :)

Shisha is what you smoke in a hookah. . . . .at least that's what I always thought I was smoking, most of the time I had hydro or chronic in it though ;)

omg, eilsoe drank when he was 15, kit drank when she was 18, and people like dan and i who drink anyway regardless of drinking age have to wait till 21 to drink legally? sometimes i don't like my country :(

I never said I started drinking at 18, only that that's when it's legal over here. :beam:

The only problem is that since I look about 17, even though I'm well over the legal age, I still occasionally get asked for ID...

I have done before... I got into a fight outside the Student Union bar in my last year at University. Some bloke was really irritating the hell out of me, and I'd had a few to drink and was feeling belligerant... I told him to leave me alone but he wouldn't and kept pestering me. I told him to leave me alone else I'd punch him, but he still didn't. So I hit him.

heh, nice one kit!
This guy tried starting on me the other night (no reason for it either). Anyways, I 'deck' him (as kit would say) and he goes away. Later, im out side talking to people and he comes up to us and says somthing like "aaw man, this lad hit me, like. Im gonnna kill him if i see him agin"
I am stood right in front of him. How dumb must this guy be?
Anyways, i tell him it was me, he looks stupified and goes away. Why is it, that the people who deliberatly try to start fights, are all brain-dead idiots?
Kitiara
June 16th, 2003, 08:48 AM
That's because they've started so many fights. :)
Soon as I'd done it, I figured I was going to be in real trouble, but the guy left me alone after that, went back to his mates and didn't say a word. Maybe he didn't want to admit to having been hit by an ickle girl? :P

I hasten to add that this is not an example of my normal behaviour. I was drunk. And he was really, really, insanely annoying. :)

TOOL, i agree. violence is not the best answer. sometimes though, it is the quickest and most imediate answer. Myself, I only get violent in self-defence, but i do feel that some people do need to be hit somtimes!
Kit, if the guy was bugging you, then fair enough. With some people, the only thing that will shut them up IS a good punch.

I really don't know how I would react in a fight. I guess I would just be defensive and then when they least expect it... BAM!!!! a big powerbomb like they use in the wrestling!! lol :P
