Url's with Logos

Hey I wasn't sure where to put this. But I have always been wondering. What do I do to put a small icon next to the URL. Like the URL for kirupa has that little tiny orange right next to the address in your address bar. How the hell do you do that?

Its called a favicon, search the forums, you'll get quite a few results. infact I might write a tut on this.
