Hey guys, in Flash CS3, when drawing objects such as ovals, rectangles, etc, I have a problem with the stroke and fill colours. If I decide to set any one of the two to no colour it works fine. But if I choose to change back from from no colour to a colour, nothing happens... it just stays without a colour.

Anybody know why? Thanks :)

OK sorry for not explaining the problem very well. I've decided to do a little screen capture of the problem (seeing as though I can't verbally communicate it verbally).

Click the link to see the problem:

Thanks. :)

No it's not. In Flash 8 the way I did this works, in CS3 it doesn't.

Yes, it is actually the same in Flash 8. Weird though. I guess you have to use the stroke/fill bucket tools.

Haha, I love how you move your mouse around in circles saying "see, it don't work!?" :D

You can't change the fill if the stroke is selected and you can change the stroke if the fill is selected.

Select them both to do them at the same time.

From your scrren cap it looked like you were selecting the fill then changing the stroke colour. Of course that won't work.

Stares in confussion at screen... :stare: Whoops, ok sorry for being an idiot... it's late... I'm tired, and I'm having a really bad/annoying day anyway :( I could have sworn... oh nevermind... I need sleep.

@ mrwicked - sorry for saying you were wrong.

@ Oyvind - lol yeah I was so frustrated that I decided to express myself with the mouse. I would have added audio commentary but I would have just sworn a few times, so I didn't want to do that.

Sigh... I must look like a total eejit. (I feel like one) :P
