Anyone know where I can get a trial for CS3, I am pretty happy with 8 and don't want to have to upgrade until I have seen what its like.

Yeah, I don't know where the trial is. I looked for a couple minutes myself. Probably somewhere blatantly obvious.

I dont know whats taking them so long to put the trials up, cause i heard that the full shipped versions bring up a screen when you first start it up, asking you to enter your serial key, or just run it in 30day trial mode. So sounds to me like the trial is already built in???
Maybe they are rebuilding them so that they are only trials and no serial key access.. who knows.

they are looking for pirated versions right now. I bet you 5$ that's what it is.
they wanna see who's distributing their software other then themselves. My servicesCapture proxxy seen that the flash IDE sent my IP with other info to adobe when I started the IDE for the Welcome page in flash. :pir: YAR

Delete this if the mods feel necessary, but I downloaded the program through non-official means. Like previous versions, unless you have serial numbers you can only run it for the 30 day trial. So those looking for the demos, but not wanting a haxx3d version can always download the stuff you see on torrent sites and not use any serials they may have packed in. (in my case, no serials were packed in anyways) I assume that the versions available would be the same as the trials you'd download before, as the trials were always the full versions anyways.

and to add from the trial faq page:
Why are trials of Adobe Creative Suite editions available only on DVD and not via download?
For the first time, Adobe is offering trial versions of full Adobe Creative Suite 3 editions. Due to potentially long download times, we are offering the Creative Suite 3 trials only on DVD sets.
And im sure the piracy part is also true.
