Help please

Anyone know how to get that "illustrated" effect of the objects on that site? I've tried it with loads of filters in photoshop but the result is just not as clean as those objects. Could anyone do a tutorial on this? Or just give me a few tips on how to achieve this effect? Thanks.

well, these are actually illustrations.

If you wanted to get a photo to look like this, you would have to play around with things like posterising (to reduce the number of colors) or something like that. I'm sure there are filters that would help, but i don't really use many so i'm not familiar with what you should try in that regard.

a lot of the objects have dark shadows, both drop shadows (underneath them) and around their edges. You could use layer styles (drop shadow, inner glow) for these.
