png's are blurry!!

yes i cut out the edges of my portrait, and i have the edges blurred, so i saved it as a png, and i imported it into flash, lookes perfect on the fla, but when i preveiw it its horrible quality... what is wrong here

They are set to compress when the swf is exported. Go into the properties of the image in the library and up the quality.
