Here's something that I doodled while I was bored at school. Done with good old paper and pencil, and then gone over it using a black pen. Please don't mind the what looks like a watermarked image on the paper... it was actually a piece of scrap paper i found and it became visible from the back when scanned in. Oh well. Let me know what you guys think of my, Fort de la Doodle:

Nice ! I like it. The only thing I would like improved is the shading of the towers and the rock/mountain. As it is now it is a bit "flat" - but still nice! :thumb:

looks good but I dont know if the rock it is on is supposed to be viewed as if your looking at it as a path, or if its a vertical mountain, kind of hard to explain

it be good with a bllue sky and white puffy clouds, and a more defined path. So its kind of rising out the clouds but not covered by them. Buts its very good.

Thanks guys. Yeah I don't know about the rock/path thing, as I said, I was bored and in school at the time so I just drew. lol. I think it's just a fort sitting on top of a big rock.

dentricrio - since I've scanned this in, I might, MIGHT, make a second version in photoshop and colour it in + add an atmosphere in the background.

So anyone else got anything to add? :P

Lol oh well it felt random enough at the time to call it a doodle. lol. :P And yeah, once I get back from somewhere I have to go today, I'll work on this "drawing" with Photoshop and my Wacom. :love:

So to sum up - stay tuned for version 2! lol

Make your linework more "confident". It looks too carefully drawn (heheh If you get what I mean?). Add some depth into it as well! :)

^ Yeah when I got back last night I was too tired, so I'll see if I can do it today.

@ Darkmotion - yeah I've got a bit of a problem with confidence, I always get paranoid that the next change I make to my work will ruin it . lol.
