the splash page is ugly. Don't randomly make words diff sizes for something like that where it needs to be easily legible. The slideshow thing was dreadfully slow and boring. Different transitions, movements, interactivity.. any of those 3 will make it a whole lot better if done right.

The splash is not bad, I like the red stripe, should the blue be a little darker? I think you need to redo the type treatment on it, the glow and emboss effect are not working. The flash froze so I can't crit on that!

Eh, yes. There is such a thing as pretentiousness even if you refer to yourself as a "Marine" instead of a "person". It gets cheesy. Instead of being impressed the first emotion it provoced was "oh get on with it".

Not saying that Marines aren't impressive to a few people, but try to target a demographic wider than other army people eh?
