not sure about dff files specifically but www.maxplugins.de has a pretty comprehensive collection. It wouldn't be DLL files that he's talking about (related to the running of a program).

.dff files are the models from Grand Theft Auto and many other games like Tony Hawk pro skater

it's not DLL, that is a Direct libarey link... you need them to run software not import models in Max 5

cool. i have always wanted to make a game. so if i were to model out a character could i use that to do the game?

only certain games are compatible contact discreet for a list or contact the game developer

I tried to play with it and could not get it.....It seems to be some kinda proprietary like encryption format but I could be wrong good luck.
