i just formatted over 1 of my 4 drives in a raid 0 configuration and messed up the whole array of drives, because i'm an idiot.
is there any way to rebuild the raid or to recover any of the data? i saw something from getdataback that delt with raid, but it only works with 2 drives, and i have 4. i'm looking for suggestions but realizing i'm probaby just screwed..?

I was reading about RAID a while ago so I think I might know something:
RAID duplicates files on each harddrive (putting the same thing on each harddrive)
so if you need to recover any data you could just put working harddrive as slave and another harddrive but not on RAID so you can copy files and then you have recoverd your data...
That probably didnt help but meh.

well, we'll need more info, hardware or software or both? was it 0+1 or was it a quad mirror, or was it quad striped, or striped and mirrored? etc...
"Four drives in raid 0", really means nothing.

sorry, i thought raid 0 was striped. it was quad striped running off my motherboard, and the drivers are by NVIDIA NVRAID. i guess that means it could have been software raid, but all the configuration is done in bios startup before an OS is installed so i'm assuming its hardware only.
