I've been running it for a long time, and it's very stable. It's good to see Debian finally making some progress; they also got a new DPL. :D

WOOOT! Finally, i'll download it tommorow, and get rid of fedora. Have they sorted out the community infra-structure?

Seems the new DPL is pretty good; hopefully he'll do a good job. He had some good ideas on his page…

Did you download the businesscard? It's much smaller.

I didn't have to upgrade anything … I've been running Etch for ages. It was quite fast for me. ;)

Ive downloaded the netinst, I'm too lazy to burn it to CD/DVD though so I'm just going to run off USB

Hmm... I've wanted to install Fedora Core for a long time, I also wanted to install CentOS, and now Debian. Looks like it's TRIPLE PARTITION time!

After using debain based stuff for so long fedora is weird, and @esh, I reccomend you start with debain as the GridServer uses that, then you can do more SSH stuff

I think I will go with Debian, because as a pet project I'm going to try to get a bunch of old/cheap computers, but Linux on all of them, and make my own grid system. Thanks evil! :D

its ok, and good luck on the grid project, oh and start small, have a cluster of three, one for receiving web calls & processing data(PHP), one for extreme storage and 1 for MySQL

I hoping to make enough revenue from advertising and stuff on my site to buy a few of those small little Dell client computers (1 or 2 gigs of RAM, fairly nice HD and processor.) and built my own sexy rack for them and set them up on my wall. It will probably be a couple of years before it all gets done, but it will be awesome when it does. :D Thanks for the wishes of best luck everyone!
