I've got a client asking me if its possible to create flash games or animations that will be playable on a dvd. To my knowledge thats not possible, any games you make you would have to make in dvd authoring software.
I'm just curious if anyone knows wether or not this is possible, and if not what I would need to program even simple games for use in a dvd.
Thanks in advance.

Thats an interesting question. As far as playing a flash game from a dvd on a dvd player that is kind of interesting becuae of the interaction factor, I am sure it could be accomplished (maybe) but why sit and use ff, rw, play, etc.. buttons on teh remote to play a game? You would basically program the game as you would the dvd title screen, but again that seems really odd and I doubt if could be to intense.
You can develop however games for the Wii, just google it.

I am curious if anyone says yes, about the dvd player flash games however, but who knows there is some interesting things out there, just seems like an interaction nightmare for control purposes :pa:
You can make an animation during the title screen etc.. of a dvd however, you can do video, stills, animation whatever, if you got a mac us iDVD. Just a few bits for thought :pac: happy gaming :pac::thumb2:
