Domains freak me out

I'm so in rage right now. It is so hard to come up with a good name and I'm so happy with 'obsession' but there is no good domain left anymore. I also checked obsessed and obsession-design what I don't really like, coz it is to long.
And the worst thing about it is, that there is actually not even a page on the most url, instead it is just registered or one of those **** search engines.......
I don't know what to do

try an acronym, or do what i do:

spin around in a swivel-chair and use the first thing that you lay eyes on for the name.

i.e. desk, computer, hot girl, etc.

Hehe... I did it the easy way. I took my domain name from the first thing I saw in the mirror. www.martinjacobsen.no

you could find a cool number and use roman numerals;)

Look around, take the first letter of everything that crosses your eyes, put some vowels in between and voilà, a completely original name :P

One thing I noticed, happened to me twice:
one day you check if a domain is available,
next day come back to get it & it's gone,
almost as if there's people lietening on that
and buying everything that gets checked on, just in case they could resell it for more..?

Maybe you are right, I kinda have the same feeling....

It is good that obs3ssion.com is still free, but when you have numbers like that in a name it looks kinda like you are an quaker or something like that...

i would still do it though, it kinda looks cool and makes you look |33t. lol. but mine was fine. but you could do this thing on register fly that as soon as it comes avalible you take it. OR just try to buy it off them.

Me and a friend had 2 choices that weren't taken yet, we raised the money, and they are both taken!
