Picture Previewing

Hi, all!

I'm sorry, I don't know if this is the right topic, but I'm looking for some help regarding a picture gallery-type deal like this (middle of page) THIS IS NOT A POP-UP, SO DON'T CLOSE IT!!!: http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=200172
When you click on an image, it pops up with a window where you can go to the next or previous image...

I'm really a newb when it comes to this stuff, so what I'd really like is just someone to steer me in the right general direction. I.e., what type of programming it is, and how I would have to go about doing it. I'm not looking for tutorials because that would be too painstaking. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks a lot, Duncanhall, however, I was looking for a non-flash solution to this type of photo gallery...any other ideas? In the screenshots example, the images seem to load instantly. I have no idea how this is done.

The example I gave does not use flash. It's very simple to set up, and it will preload all the images in your gallery.
