I hope that dosent' happen. Flash won't work on any platform if Windows' coders get their hands on it.... bunch of slacker low-lifes...

Flash would give Microsoft access to tools for building rich interfaces on both desktops and mobile devices, furthering .NET. Why does this scare me?
Lost, I'm after you with the gun. :)

i really hate microsoft for what they're trying to do here.
Microsoft's own scripting efforts are regarded as relatively inferior to the cross-platform Flash, which now supports XML, Unicode, MP3 and HTML and which was taken closer towards Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) in 2002. The Flash Player, meanwhile, is compatible with most browsers and used on nearly 90% of desktops.
if they can't get their way, they just pay for it. the world not enough, gates?

No more that there is a consperacy to keep ppl drinking all day.
lol acutaly i can't even drink one beer a day. I'm alergic to it so i would come off mighty sick. I drink rye and coke and that is pretty much it. Oh and i do enjoy a ceaser form time to time but unless you are Canadian you might not know what that is.

oh man that sucks that you can't drink alcoholic beverages....not that it's a good thing or anything...
i used to get rashes from drinking a quarter of a beer, which was pathetic. this happened because my parents rarely ever drank so i didn't get/inherit an enzyme called alcohol dehydrogenase, which basically breaks down the alcohol into acetate. so the alcohol basically remains in the blood. if you heard of the term "asian glow", that's what this is referring to. some asians tend to become red when they drink.
i however, had this situation. so i built up my own tolerance. now i need at least 2 beers to become slightly red. the funny thing is liquor doesn't make me turn red, though it has a higher concentration of alcohol.

Ever since I've used a comp', I've used Windoze.
Got quite unnerved when '98 still would bug all the time and bluescreen on me at the worst possible time, used Win2K & loved it, now using XP for a while and never had any problem?!
It ain't free (X-cept if you steal it on the internet), but it is a huge r&d job, and it does improve over time, so...
Why is not not Ok for M$ to controll the OS market, who cares if the sources are not available (what's the recepee for Coca-Cola..?), IE has long since many more features than NS or Opera or others, and so on..
I don't care what the brand is, as long as it works, is the point I'm trying to make...but I love MM products, couldn't stand to give up Dreamweaver (ah, that name already..) for Frontpage, so I'd rather MM stays MM, but $$$ rules the world...

I love ms and all, i dont have anything against it, but i just like that and MM to be sperate.
I dont htink this will happen, *knock on wood* but if it does, i am jumping off a building, not one that i would get killed, but one that is big enough to get my point threw.

power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely ... or some such ....
I certainly don't love M$ but I think the only thing I hate about them is their totalitarian approach, once they *own* a thing there is little choice but to deal with them. Quality is not an incentive when you're the only game in town.
I find it psychologically unnerving that they could buy their way into a position of total domination ... they're just not prone to allow the open source and free competition that could evolve without them in such a position.
They operate far too much on the motivation of what's good for their bottom line rather than what is good for da Pipples.
