I'm not a 100% sure that this is the right forum, but here it goes anyway:

I need to upload a wordpad, .doc document to my ftp and be able to view it without downloading it. In other words, have it not prompt to download. Like when you view a .doc attachment in gmail for example.

I have no idea how to do this whatsoever. But I figured it would probably be fairly simple. Thanks =).

Without attatchments or extra plugins its practically impossible apart from internet explorer, You could however create a PHP script which takes the data out of the .doc somehow

Would be saving it from word as HTML be an option?

I Thought of saving it as HTML in WordPad but I didn't have that option :/. My friend with Word could though so it worked out.

It does however leave a big line at the top and the text "Websida"(Website in Swedish). As you can see here: http://hundsteg.se/Erik/Kursplan_hemsida.htm

Anyone know if its fixable with exporting filters in Word? I'd go over to my friend and check but I don't wanna disturb him anymore, its kinda late here.

Thanks for all the help by the way :).

Why not convert it to PDF, a standard web format for documents? It has full browser supports, low file size and a heck of a lot of possibilities.

I would make it into a pdf, it's easier and looks better. There are some free converters out there.

Also, I think it's spelled "Webbsida" :beam:
