I talked to someone on the inside and its supposed to be something much more than the 3d abilities in cs3. But its like hush hush right now.

I've slowly started to make 3D my main area at work, just got max 9 and vray set up  This is really exciting news, even if it's only half-baked hush-cakes right now ;)

there are a few videos out for photoshop and 3d. Things like importing obj's or other popular 3d format (3DS), using orbit, rotate tools in a 'smart layer' like layer structure for the 3d layer. Editing textures again much like a smart layer. Adjusting the lighting/texture, view modes (wireframe, rendered) being able to do cut out of the 3d object etc.. Other than the cut outs and different 3d object viewing it's pretty much a advanced post production 3d tool, similar to AE and most probably PS and AE will share these 3d layers and AE could use them in 3d space... but that last sentence is only my assumption. :book:
