I have always been a HUGE metallica fan and I loathe this album.

I am devistated over how bad it is. Its unfortunate that it took so long to churn it out and its as bad as it is.

I listened two it twice all the way through then hung it up.

St. Anger sucks c0w Azz and h@ppy horse Sh!t, i still think justice for all is like their best album i loved all the songs on that album it made me a metallica fan and One is my favorite song, did you guys hear the metallica icon?? i was impressed when my fav band Korn played One it was like a dream come true :beam:

I thought the icon was pretty good.

Without a doubt Bizkits sanitarium was my favorite tune of the night. They put so much work into that song and even added thier own twist.

DJ lethal scratching the solo at the end.... I was truly impressed

St Anger is total crap, I agree. My brother bought the CD, but was very disapointed. The first single is horrible!

Faith was never Limps best song( there most popular but never best). You would be safer to say that they only had one good album ever. 3 dollar bills was a great album but it is the only one like it they made. Every song on that disc other then Faith was great.

Significat other was a cry baby whine disc about fred breaking up with a girl but wihtout the heavey screaming that was expected. They tried to hard to sound good when there appeal was the rough sounding edge. It was basicly a sell out disc and it was all down hill form there.

Limp is one of my biggest musical dissapointments of all times.

PS: Did anybody doubt that St. Anger whould suc. Like I don't find this as a suprise at all.

oh and whats the deal with going on tour with Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit? uhhh Metallica isn't like them at all and sure bands who tour together don't always playy the same music but I would never expected that Metallica would tour with them...

even if I was a big Metallica fan and lived in the US - there is no way I would pay whatever it is to go see them and the others

I think any band would be hard pressed to come close to SOAD. This is a very very poor atempt at trying to copy what is poplar. Like they didnt' even try to make it subtile or anything. They are totaly trying to copy SOAD's style and sound.

Have you guys listened like realy list listened to the lyrics on this disc. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW they are god awful. Like what have they been doing all this time. It wasnt writing lyrics that is for sure.

amen to that.... try is the word, although total failure comes to mind too.... there is no band that can equal the sound soad makes. it's unique .... anyways listened the st-anger album today... omg, i'm so glad i leeched it from the lan here.... such a dissapointment. The way they re-used old songs... pff well this album doesn't deserve to be compared to the old ones :(

next to influences from soad, one song is a total rip off from coal chamber...text comes even close at some moments :*( ... + added drop-d tuned guitars for an even more nu metal feel.

I thought this new album was supposed to be the heaviest yet... It is pansy! Well some of it. I haven't heard all of the songs, but the one that I have heard and hate is the title song Saint Anger. You got in the background saying "Just flush it out" or some bs like that. It sounds pansy like. Not heavy at all.
