i just found this on Amazon

It Includes Flash MX, Dreamweaver MX, Fireworks MX, FreeHand and a developer edition of ColdFusion MX Server.

but in a magizine i bought it had Flash MX alone for £400 but this WHOLE this is £175

is freehand anygood BTW? I've never used it....

It's cheaper to buy Studio MX because you're getting a big discount. On the Macromedia site, Studio MX is going for $899.

Many software companies do this as well, they sell bundles for a lot cheaper.

There is a Student version of Studio MX that's cheaper for well, students really. It could be that one? :)

i paid more then that for my Flash and Dreamweaver Mx and i am a bit pissed off now;)

Look, if they're only charging £175 for Studio MX, then take it. Don't ask questions. :P My copy was about £600. :sure:

Thats the Student version Chris,

You cant use that for any commercial work, its only supposed to be for 'learning'. Bit of a bugger.

no water marks or anything, and from what i hear they never check anyway, or so my friend says.

I'd still go for it, if you want to invest in Studio MX. :) It's worth it.

yup. always check the student versions, you get prices that go down to 1/10th of the original prices - including 3dsmax, c4d and lots of other softwares.... and then the upgrade/licence to the 'true' one doesnt cost as much as buying the original anyway...
