Devil May Cry 4 and now FFXIII (hopefully). This is going to be a big loss for PS3 b/c these big titles are becoming available to the more affordable (and kinda sexy) Xbox 360. The only reason I would get a PS3 is for titles like these. Looks like I might not have to.

I don't see what the big deal is with Final Fantasy and Square Enix is? I'm pretty sure there isn't a sniper rifle in any FF out there. And no sniper rifle means -1 points in a rating out of 10 total points no matter how good the game is. Ditto high powered assault rifles, rocket launches, large caliber pistols, and rapid-fire machine guns and cannons. Anyway, I'm glad that there's a possibility the 360 can put another $600 nail in the PS3's coffin, even though I'll never play it.

Dead Rising is far in the list of great 360 games, it is just another sunday afternoon rental game.

Only 2 games that would make me buy a PS3 is God of War 3 and Shadow Colussus 2 those games were fantastic and I highly recommend them if you've never played them.

You see I'm not the big x360 fanboi you people think I recognize good games when I play them, now Wii, Wii just plain sucks but its good for parties but it still sucks :lol:

I wonder.... I don't think they will stop doing what they are doing. They have a lot of money. I mean, I still goto buy Sony electronics over other stuff. Like TVs and stereos etc. So obviously if they need to, they can always pump more money into the ps3 if they need it. But at what point do they say, its not worth it?

To me the PS3 has a lot of strong points - but some things that people just don't need or will bother with. While the online community for the PS3 (where you can customize yourself and walk around in a 3d environment is kewl...) this is really just not needed IMO. All you really need to know is who is on and what they are playing and if they wanna play with you. All they are really doing with the new stuff is turning it more and more into a PC that plays console games ... which destroys the whole point - once again IMO.

Like I said - I think PS3 has it's ups and downs - but ultimately I see it collapsing on itself and imploding in a big waste of time and money.

As far as FF13 being for consoles all around - I'm for it! I wish/hope it comes out for PC again - because I loved playing 7 and 8 on PC - then i was hoping that 9 would do the same but it didn't and Sony took it over completely. So if it comes out for PC - then i'll be all for it - otherwise I could honestly care less.

Yeah, for some reason, Sony keeps having these grand ultra mega huge home entertainment schemes with some version of the playstation as the center.

They wanted that with the PS2 and it never happened, and odds are it won't happen with the PS3.

Only if you have it hooked up to a PC with media center, it totally pwns everything else streaming divx to your 360 is just awesome :love:

Ya thats what I'm talking about. I don't have it hooked up with Media Center though. I have it hooked up with their zune program (although you dont need a zune). Is the media center thing a better choice? Some of my movies don't get picked up the way I have it set up...

Well you dont need Media Center to stream movies and other whatnot to your x360 you can download the extender lite for WinXP SP2 and share stuff without media center although the media center experience is just great.

Hey Grim...You got any links or more info on the hooking teh 360 to your computer and using it as a entertainment center? I am looking at re-doing how my surround sound setup is and I really want to integrate my computer into the whole ball of wax.

Also I havent played my ps3 in forever. Its waiting for GOW3, I have however busted out my ps2 to play GOW2....:drool: I am not a fanboy os sony but consoles in general I just feel like I have to have them all.

Hey Grim...You got any links or more info on the hooking teh 360 to your computer and using it as a entertainment center?

I sure do get the media center extender for XP and Media Center here (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/extender/setup/default.mspx) they also have instructions on how to get it all setup its very simple.

To stream divx movies to your X360 you need transcode 360 get that here (http://runtime360.com/2006/10/30/the-fall-update/) you can also use other alternatives like MCE Encoder or Nero Media Center, both transcoder and MCE support srt subtitles Nero sadly does not if Nero would support srt files it would be the best of all the encoders.
