I couldn't find this posted so here it is.

It contains the most impressive flash experiments I have seen anywhere.

Hmmmm, there's no doubt that it contains some very impressive scripting, but the site doesn't pull it off for me.
For starters - the 3 "different" ways to enter the site - (via pop-up, via new window and via full screen) all seem to do exactly the same thing. Not only is using pop windows generally unneccessary, but all three options get blocked by firefox pop up blocker.
The flash functionality doesn't seem to tie very well with what the experiments are trying to achieve. For example, "simulating artifical intelligence", to me, doesn't seem to do anything of the sort. It's just some randomized lines extending from set points on the stage, with a nice picture behind it. Similar with "creating images and structures using lines". It's almost just a generic flash experiment, that isn't that impressive, with a nice photo shoved behind it.
I'm sure there's some interesting and worthwile stuff somewhere on the site, but when I see sites like this, I just get dissapointed. You can tell it has the potential to be an absolutely mind blowing site, but it lets itself down in its design, useability and the extra thought that should've gone into it.

I strongly agree with some of your points, however my comments we're based soley on the work that was in there. It really kept me interested I went through the whole site.

Yeah, that's what frustrates me the most about sites like this. I know there is probably cool stuff there, but my web standards stubborness simply won't let me go back and look.
I guess it all comes down to first impressions.

I totally agree with you on that side, I was really talking about the experiments themselves.
And if you do venture back there, when you have clicked on "source", and then your section of choice, underneath the photo and to the left are lots of tiny squares. Click on these, each one is a separate experiment.
Yes I know, extremely hard to find if you don't know they are their!
