it is good but I am not feeling the font. Maybe a more stylized or san serif font. JMO

ya I got the same comment from someone else....

hmmm... See my thinking was a semi serrifed font, looked traditional enought to be easy on the eye for print material, but modern enough to reflect the genre of music... also remember this is print material and would be much sharper off the screen.

anything more detailed about the type, what doesnt work ect?

i think the large text has not quite enough contrast, but it could be my monitor, and of course it will be very different in print

I think the angles are too sharp....since the nature of the graphic is kinda curvy and bubbly.....even like a verdana would look good in this position. or something more curve of a type set where the stroke is even all around the font. JMO
