working on the site atm .. it's almost finished, needs a few bits and pieces but you should be able to get the overall picture.... any constructive criticism welcome

- Design works, although I'm not sure why you chose red in areas of the website, doesn't really match
- I like the menu - simple yet attractive
- Not feeling the rollover text effect in your main body text - pointless
- Smoothe transitions
- Not sure why quick tour is, nothing seems to be happening(not sure if it's unfinished)
- Logo is eh..

Good job for the most part, I like the style you are going for :thumb:

Really nice. Good navigation.

Problem: When you hit the Portfolio section, no content is loaded in the space to the right, until you select something. Same with the text at the bottom. I would expect something to be initially loaded in that space.

cool site, but there's an overuse of effects. and there's too much gray background. would look good a bit larger though

good job:thumb:

Red definitely seems odd in a layout like this. Try a blue or green maybe?:P I like the sub navigations a lot :)

the load time was kind of rough for me, including the effects after the preloader. Pretty solid design, though.

looks like a mish mash of tutorials like the cable tutorial and gui tutorial with several DA PS artbrushes on the borders. the site itself demonstrate knowledge of effects and code but not neccisarily design. the same with the portfolio. from viewing it i do not see anything that shows knowledge of theory or a strong background in things such as demographics, information architecture, typography.

As a site, it works, its kind of bland and not super breath taking but it does work. I am not dismissing its positive points. Red gray black... hard to go wrong, they work even on my monitor which is usually off balance. It is very clean. It is easy to read. Transitions are smooth, not a horrible download time for me on ISDN.

It just doesnt sell your service to me. It looks like many other amatuer to mid grade service sites. As said above the effects are over used. It is a porfolio site but that doesnt mean every bell and whislte has to be attached. It is somewhat dated with the trend style of scan-lines and tech brushes used. The header is not unique as in I do not see a logo or logotype anywhere on the site or unique mark to say this this socreative. Also if you can spring for it and its not taken, a .com is always better for generic traffic than any other .____ because that is what most browers default to and that is what most users are likely to put in. Usually you dont go into other endings unless the original is taken or you have established yourself and dont want anyone taking your other domains.

Overall it looks like a stronger command of technique than design. (code v. design).

I guess you could say that you know how to paint very well but the final image is not as good as the skill put into making it... which is often overlooked and underpraised.
